The Singularity Collapse

The Architect did not believe in money. He believed in curvature.

In the final days of the Great Acceleration, the world had become a singular, pulsing network of wealth. The Architect had discovered the 'Wealth-Gravity Correlation'—a hidden law of physics that stated that the concentration of value in a single point of consciousness created a literal warp in the fabric of space-time.

"Wealth is not a social construct," he whispered to the empty halls of his obsidian tower. "It is a mass. And mass curves space."

He spent decades manipulating the global economy, not for power or luxury, but to create the ultimate experiment. He engineered a series of financial collapses and forced mergers, driving the world's assets into a tighter and tighter spiral. He created a global hunger that could only be satisfied by the accumulation of everything into one single, absolute point.

He became the conduit. Through a series of neural interfaces, the Architect linked his own mind to the global ledger. He began to absorb the value of every company, every piece of land, every digital coin, and every single human dream.

As the concentration reached the critical threshold, the world began to change.

In New York, the skyscrapers began to lean toward the Architect's tower, not because of the wind, but because the tower had become the gravitational center of the planet. People found themselves physically pulled toward the center, their bodies sliding across the pavement in a slow, inevitable migration toward the point of absolute value.

The Architect felt the pressure mounting. His mind was no longer a human consciousness; it was a singularity. He could feel the weight of a billion lives, the crushing mass of a trillion transactions. He was the richest man in history, and he was being crushed by the weight of his own wealth.

"The final liquidation," he gasped, his voice sounding like grinding stone.

At the moment of absolute peak—when the last single cent of value on Earth was absorbed into his mind—the curvature became infinite.

There was no explosion. There was only a sudden, violent contraction. In a fraction of a second, the tower, the city, and the entire planet were sucked into a microscopic point of infinite density. The wealth of a world had become a black hole.

The universe didn't notice. A small, blue planet simply vanished from the galactic map, replaced by a tiny, silent singularity that contained everything that had ever been owned.

In the center of that void, for one eternal microsecond, the Architect felt a sense of absolute peace. He finally owned everything. And in owning everything, he had finally become nothing.
