## Chapter I: The Letter

Elias Harper was twenty-six when he left Montana for Washington D.C. He had grown up in the mountains, trained by Old Doc—a former CIA medic—who taught him first aid, fighting, observation skills, and basic counter-surveillance techniques.

After Old Doc died, Elias received an anonymous letter: "Your sister Catherine is in trouble in Washington. Find her."

Elias packed Old Doc's notebook and a small knife and came to the capital.

## Chapter II: The Maze

Washington was a maze for Elias—not geographical, but power-based. He didn't know which news organization Catherine worked for, or where she last appeared.

But he knew one thing: the last person Catherine contacted before disappearing was an intelligence broker named "Victor."

Elias found Victor—a security guard at a small bar in Georgetown. Victor told him: "Your sister was investigating a project called 'Polaris.' It's an intelligence network run by a multinational corporation. She found evidence, then she vanished."

Victor gave Elias an address: "Go there. Find someone. Call him 'Raven.'"

## Chapter III: The Truth

At the address—a nondescript office building—Elias met "Raven," a former intelligence analyst now an independent investigative journalist.

Raven told Elias the truth: Polaris was a multinational corporation's intelligence network,渗透ing the U.S. government, media, and law enforcement. Catherine had discovered the network's core—a "shadow command center" hidden inside the Pentagon. She collected evidence, prepared to publish. But the night before publication, she disappeared.

He chose a third path—he used all the skills Old Doc taught him to reverse-trace the Polaris network. He found Catherine—imprisoned in a secret facility, but alive.

He rescued her and gave the Polaris evidence to real journalists—the investigative team at The Washington Post.

The evidence was published. The Polaris project was exposed.

Elias and Catherine disappeared—they went somewhere no one could find them.

But they weren't heroes. They were two people designed to be, who ultimately chose a life not designed for them.
