In one single keystroke, he broadcasted the family's entire history of war crimes and financial fraud to every major news outlet in the world. The paradise became a prison in seconds as the sirens of the international police began to wail in the distance.

(Act IV: The Echo) Marcus didn't take the money. He didn't take the title. He walked Clara to the docks and handed her the keys to the only functioning boat. He watched her sail away, a survivor of a war she never asked for. As the black helicopters of the authorities descended on the obsidian cliffs, Marcus lit a cigarette and leaned back against a palm tree.
